Possible Solutions for LETHAL

1. turn off windows firewall on both PCs....OR

2. connect USB drive/harddrive before powering on the host source PC..OR

3. remove several windows updates:

win7 > start button
control panel
Programs and features
- view installed updates (left column at top)
- find relevant KB updates

- highlight the update and click on 'Uninstall' in header row at top.
- Be VERY PATIENT when you undo the patch, it may take a while before it finally prompts to 'Restart Now'.

UNINSTALLED 2522422 [Cannot print from Internet Explorer 9 using some Canon printers]

For the USB copy issue, I am lucky to solve it because 
I was doing daily large file backup and able to trace 
back to the date of the issue. By removing the following 
updates, I am up and running again:

I have a strong feeling that it is the KB2563227 that 
causes the problem since the so-called fix was directed 
at a graphics card - NVidia.
